I will dominate 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Still, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really proceeding.
